Brompton World Championships 2026

Finally the day has arrived of the Brompton World Championships 2026 which was postponed from earlier this year.

The Legend was fully prepared, serviced and cleaned.

The legend will be attending but the human meatbags fitness level is WAY below what it used to be, not that it was much the last few years anyways. But I will try to attend seeing it’s pretty much just down the road from me so I can meet up with a few of my Brompton Family, old & new.

Was wondering Temu the other day and found quite a few interesting things. I’ve always heard Temu had bad Quality things in but for the prices they wasn’t to bad a risk.

Cycling Cap by @Skye_Caps

Over the years I have cycled many miles with my good friend Samantha of @skye_caps. Pretty much every time I have met her she as always been sporting cycling clothing she has designed and made by her own hands.

Samantha’s speciality is handcrafting cycling caps & completely unique to the wearer.

Small Upgrade for “The Clone”

Over the weekend (a few months ago now) I did a little upgrade on “The Clone”. When I originally bought the legend I did for a time wanted to get a rear rank for transporting stuff etc (this was before I discovered the Front bags).

Health Update & Happy New Year

For all those that have been following my health I have some good news.

I saw my consultant on New Year’s Eve  and my tests came back good. “Undetectable” was the word he used. I’m still undergoing treatment & dealing with the side effects. This is the best outcome that we could have asked for. 

I want to thank EVERYONE, my family, friends, the doctors, nurses, machine techs, people who have prayed for me, everyone and anyone.

Best start to 2026 EVER !!

Half way there

So today was my 10th radiotherapy session at St. Bart’s Hospital and here is an update. 

I feel pretty good. For the moment all I have are hot flushes, a few more trips to the bathroom early in the mornings and tiredness other than that my side effects have been pretty mild. Met an older gentleman that was just starting his treatments so we had a little chat. Told him what to expect and how my treatments been going so far. Basically told him not to worry to much and just focus on handling whatever side effects he may have and ofcourse listen to the doctors and nurses. 

All the machines are named after the planets in our solar system. So we have Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Jupiter & Neptune. 

This is “Mercury” that I lay in for my treatments but at the start of my treatment I was mostly in Venus but she’s under maintenance this week (they are regularly go under maintenance as they are very busy machines).  They are all the same & do the exact same thing.
