So I have always ridden with SPD pedals for many years and I honestly cant ride without them, the confidence they give me knowing my foot position is not going to change and general comfort level is amazing. So with the “N+1” I decided to get some SPD pedals but also needed to get something that my other half can use without having to change pedals or have SPD shoes.
I looked around for SPD pedals that also had the option to be able to use normal shoes and I found the above pedals. They also come in different colours.
I did pick the yellow ones but in person they are mostly green kind of colour I thought they would be a lot more yellow. Returned them and got black ones instead. Had a couple of rides to the doctors with them now and other than adjusting the tightness for my shoes to clip in and out they have been pretty good. Have to wear them in abit to get them feeling like the SPD on the legend but havent fallen over yet but has been a couple of close calls.
Fitting them is easy enough & they work pretty well. Just getting used to making sure I got the right side is a little tricky but with practice will be second nature soon enough.
