20,000 page views...

I woke up this morning to over 20,000 page views >:D

Don't know what to say but thank you from me and Bumble B for everyone that reads this blog.

We hope your enjoying the blog as we travel the path of cycling, fitness, friendship and self discovery that Bumble B and I are undertaking.

We have a long way to go and many more paths to cross on our journey to become......

The Legend of the Brompton Bumble B

Time to get serious again.....

I've heard good things about these Altura Night Vision Waist Tights esp in cold temperatures so I went and ordered up a pair so I could keep cycling when its cold out. It came today and the temperature tonight dropped big time so there wasn't anything to do other than go out for a quick training run to test them out.
Altura Night Vision Waist Tights
  • Multi panel performance fit
  • Stretch thermal fabric
  • Critically positioned highly reflective trim
  • 2 layer stretch insert

Full Training Mode
I have to say I really like them, felt good and I felt like a real proper rider. Have to get used to putting them on as they are a tight fitting but they felt good. They came just in time for me to do some intensive training leading up to the IG London Nocturne 2013 next week....

The Legend at the IG London Nocturne

Honoured readers of my humble blog as I have stated in the past I will be entering as many cycling events as possible and the first on the list in 2013 is

I heard about this race last year and I actually went to it as a spectator. As soon as I got there I was sorry I didn't actually enter the race itself.
That was the event that I swore to Bumble B that we shall enter as many cycling events as possible from that point on.

As soon as I heard they opened registations for the IG London Nocturne for 2013 I got on the website and applied. This was a good number of months ago and not much had been heard till this year. I got an email saying that the registration was closing soon and emails will be sent by the end of business today confirming entry.

*biting my nails*

*sleepless nights*

Finally I received an email from IG London Nocturne

The Legend will be riding in the IG London Nocturne Folding Bike Race on the 19th, next week. Talk about cutting it close.

To finally know that I got in has me VERY excited to say the least but I know in a few hours it will finally sink in and I will probably wake up in cold sweats for the next week.

I only have 9 days to prepare "The Legend known as the Brompton Bumble B"

I would like to think I am abit fitter than my last major outing but I have been slacking since Christmas.

"The Legend of the Brompton Bumble B" in full effect for the only the second time ever. The first was at the Brompton World Championships 2012 and was a great day out. Hell I even appeared on The Cycle Show on Channel 5.
