Z minus 4hrs....

LBC: London by Night Ride

Finally got The Legend all prepared and ready to go, but his not going to show off his secret weapons til the darkness comes. Trust me London, it may be the only time that shades are truely needed at night time, you have been WARNED!!!!

Finally got the other bits sorted out for myself, I got some cheap thermal leggings things which I will see how good they are but probably will get the Helly Hansen Thermal Tights & Base Layer Top I was looking for but never found. I did get the Altura Night Vision Over Trousers that I know my partner in crime raves about for cycling in the rain, but I may not end up using it if the rain holds off. The temp to me this afternoon actually warmed up abit to me and found myself  sweating a little but that could have just been cause i was running about so much trying to find the Helly Hansen Thermals.

Will do a proper write up on all the running about I have done today as well as reviews of the items I have bought and may use tonight.
But I must rest my brain has been going pretty fast with me trying to do things and running about like a well Bumble B >:P

Remember London, its Friday night and ALL the freaks come out, this time its The Legend of the Brompton Bumble B's turn.....

Prep for LBC: London by Night Ride

Well just afew more hours till the LBC: London by Night Ride.

I want to get a couple of things namely clothing to make sure I'm not going to be too cold on the night ride.

Woop just discovered SportsDirect. I may raid it a little but reading though the reviews as a few things have bad comments on them. Some stuff on sale too >:D

Current shopping list:
  1. Altura Night Vision Over Trousers
  2. Helly Hansen HH Warm Thermal Tights & Helly Hansen HH Warm Half Zip Base Layer Top
  3. Full fingered gloves (compatible with touch screen)
  4. More lights :P
  5. Thermal Flask
  6. Thin under helmet cover
  7. Thermal Socks
  8. Ear Muffs
Also have a few more lights I want to design and build into Bumble B, not sure if I will be able to get it finished in time but I do have extra lighting systems as backups anyways. Not much else to really say other than

"Bring it!"

Yesterday while at work I popped into Primark and got a set of long thermals for £10, dunno if they are any good

Only other thing to do is clean and oil up the legend and make sure I fuel myself up before hand and we'll be ready.

Brompton Toolkit in person

Well I've finally had one in my hands. I was in London Fields Cycles, E9 looking at cycle clothing for the up & coming LBC: London at Night. Was looking at getting some over-trousers & maybe a hi-vis waterproof jacket. Just as I was leaving at the corner of my eye I spotted Brompton branding & had a closer look.

Brompton Toolkits
Actually having it in my hand I STILL don't feel the need to get it. Its good don't get me wrong but most of the time when I'm out on proper rides I got my bits and bobs with me in my Brompton O Bag or my Carradice Saddle bag. Even with the reduced price of £43 instead of RRP of £48 wouldn't tempt me.
